He picked up the gold once again, with his compatriot Wang Xinjie joining him on the podium in bronze medal position. Korean Cho Yeongjae won silver.

The skeet mixed team competition is a new addition for Paris 2024. The gold medal came down to a match between Italy and the USA. American Vincent Hancock has long been the dominant force in this sport and won another gold in the individual event just days ago. He teamed up with Austen Smith, but they fell short, with the Italians winning 45-44. China got yet another medal, claiming bronze and a total of 10 shooting medals at this Games. It all follows controversy after Britain's Amber Rutter had to settle for silver in the women's individual skeet, despite replays showing she had in fact hit a clay she was adjudged to have missed.
