What does the future of tech look like? ISE gathered a panel of experts to find out, and some of their predictions were mind-blowing.
The panel, Visions of Tomorrow: Unlocking Future Technology, was one of the highlights of this year's ISE event in Barcelona. ISE is the leading event for the Audio Visual (AV) industry, and it features ground-breaking product launches, inspiring keynotes and expert insights. And this year many of those insights came from a panel of acclaimed futurists and technology experts as they shared their predictions for the future of, well, everything.
Bringing the future into focus
ISE is where the AV industry comes to unveil cutting-edge products and showcase the innovations that'll change our lives. This year, global brands such as Panasonic, Bosch, Google, and Logitech made significant announcements about their audio, smart home, and live entertainment categories, and the ISE 2025 event featured innovations from over 1,600 exhibitors including Google, Samsung, ASUS, Zoom, and Cisco.
In addition to big launches and big reveals, ISE is also about the big picture. And that's where the experts came in. Hosted by TechRadar's very own Managing Editor of Lifestyle, Josephine Watson, a panel of experts helped decode the future and discover how AR, VR, robotics, smart homes and other key technologies will enhance our everyday lives and our entertainment too.
The panel comprised world-renowned digital anthropologist and futurist Brian Solis, who is the head of global innovation at ServiceNow; Fardad Zabetian, CEO and co-founder of KUDO Inc.; Sara Cox, founder and Managing Director of Neutral Human; and multimedia artist Quayola, who uses video, computer software and installation to explore the tension between real and artificial spaces and surfaces.
So what does the future have in store?
