They combine well together, allowing you to send notifications to the speaker when your doorbell is pressed. That's on top of all the usual smart speaker functions. This £95 saving brings the combo down to its cheapest price ever for Black Friday - plus, it's the same price as buying a Ring Doorbell by itself so you might as well take the free smart speaker with it.

TCL SF540K 40-inch FHD Fire TV: was £239 now £119 at Amazon
Invite-only: This TCL SF540K Fire TV is another invite-only deal that's coming to this year's Black Friday sale at Amazon - and it's another we'd definitely register your interest in if you need a small and basic TV. At 40 inches and with just full HD support it's far from a premium model but it will serve you fine for infrequent viewing in the bedroom or kitchen - or if you aren't fussed about getting the very best picture quality. It's hard to argue with it for under £120.
Sony WH-1000MX4: was £249 now £197.99 at Amazon
The Sony WH-1000MX4 are a little older now but they are still some of the best over-ear headphones ever. These wireless Sony cans package together top-notch audio, excellent comfort, and effective noise cancellation all at a reasonable price point that's £80 less than the newer Sony XM5. We still rate these as the best headphones for most people, exactly because you can find them at a price like this for Black Friday.
Asus Chromebook 14: was £249 now £139 at Amazon
This Asus Chromebook 14 is a basic device but it's great value for money if you need a cheap laptop for light use such as general browsing and schoolwork. It sports a 14-inch display, full-day battery life and the lean Chrome OS that make it a great buy for students or those always on the move with around £150 to spend.
Cosori Pro LE Air Fryer L501: was £99.99 now £69.99 at Amazon
This is a sleek and stylish air fryer according to our Cosori Pro LE L501 review and a great time to buy it as it drops to a terrific low price. The 4.7L capacity is enough for a family of four to cook meals in using nine preset functions with up to 85% less fat, 50% faster and 55% less electricity than a conventional oven. Cleaning is easy, too, with dishwasher-safe components.
Amazon Fire TV 55-inch 4-Series 4K TV: was £549.99 now £149.99 at Amazon
Sold out: This extremely popular invite-only deal at Amazon has now sold out, but I'm keeping it on the list in case the retailer adds more stock as we almost never see a TV of this size for so cheap. The picture quality on this 55-inch Fire TV is decent overall, with support for ultra-HD resolution and HDR 10 for better lighting and colours. Plus, access to all major streaming apps is just button press or voice command away.
Echo Dot (5th Gen): was £54.99 now £21.99 at Amazon
Amazon's best-selling Echo Dot just returned to its record-low price in today's Black Friday deals. The 5th generation smart speaker is back down to £21.99 - a massive 60% discount and £5 cheaper than last year's Black Friday price. Amazon's latest model got four stars in our Echo Dot (5th Gen) review for its improved audio experience, new temperature sensor and all the handy Alexa features like playing music, answering questions, and checking the weather completely hands-free.
Sony WF-C500: was £90 now £43.69 at Amazon
We already called these earbuds 'great value for money' in our Sony WF-C500 review – and that was at the full asking price. With 51% off, we think they're an absolute steal and then some. Yes, 20 hours of battery can be bettered – but 10 hours from the buds alone certainly can't at this new low price point. They're also light and comfortable, providing an exciting, musical sound. Oh, and this is the cheapest price ever - sounds perfect.
Kindle: was £84.99 was £69.99 at Amazon
The standard Kindle is a basic ereader, but still boasts a four-week battery life and space for thousands of books and at this price is well worth buying if you can't afford the more expensive Paperwhite (also on sale, for £114.99). It has been £10 cheaper in the past, so could fall further in the next week.
Ring Video Doorbell: was £99.99 now £49.99 at Amazon
The improved Ring Video Doorbell is on sale for £49.99 at Amazon, which beats the previous record-low for the device. The wireless version of the smart doorbell was awarded four stars in our Ring Video Doorbell review with useful features such as advanced motion detection and two-way talk so you can see, hear and speak to anyone from your phone or computer. The Ring also works with Amazon Alexa to send alerts to your Echo devices.
Echo Pop: was £44.99 now £17.99 at Amazon
Looking to buy a smart speaker for a small space? Amazon's Black Friday sales includes the all-new Echo Pop for just £17.99, making it the cheapest Echo device you can buy right now. We found it was a fun if basic option in our Echo Pop review. For the money, you get a compact smart speaker with Alexa built-in, so you can play music, ask questions and check the weather completely hands-free.
Silentnight Comfort Control Heated Electic Blanket: was £42.99 now £30 at Amazon
With the chilly winter nights now upon us, there's nothing like getting cosy in bed with a cup of tea and a good book, film or video game. And now you can up your comfort with this heated underblanket from Silentnight for 30% off. This king-sized fleece layer easily attaches to your mattress, has three heat settings, is designed to prevent hot spots and is also machine washable for easy cleaning.
Home Essentials: up to 44% off Fairy, Finish, Dettol and more
Black Friday isn't all about giant TVs, noise-cancelling headphones and powerful laptops, it's also a chance to stock up on some household essentials for less. Well, that's exactly what I'm doing. Dishwasher pods, cleaning sprays, cleaning cloths, tissues and more are all reduced by up to 44% at Amazon.
Ninja AF100UK Air Fryer: was £149.99 now £79 at Amazon
Will the air fryer craze ever calm down? It still doesn't seem likely, as the handy kitchen gadgets continue to sell like hotcakes. If you've not got one yet then now's a great time to try the tech for yourself as the Ninja Air Fryer AF100UK is just £5 off its lowest price ever at Amazon. We said this compact model is an excellent and easy-to-use entry-level air fryer for those cooking meals for one or two people in our Ninja Air Fryer AF100UK review.
Ninja Foodi Air Fryer Max: was £269.99 now £179.99 Amazon
A fantastic record-low price for this deluxe Ninja Air Fryer Max is available at Amazon for Black Friday. It boasts a large 9.5L capacity, six preset functions and can cook up to eight portions of two foods at once to ensure they're prepared at exactly the same time. Plus, it also comes bundled with some free tongs as a bonus. The discount brings it in line with much smaller-sized models so it's well worth getting this premium version while it's on offer.
Blink Mini: was £29.99 now £17.99 at Amazon
The Blink Mini is always a best-seller in the end-of-year sales like Black Friday, and Amazon has the compact smart security camera for £17.99 - that's equal to the lowest price we've ever seen. The indoor HD camera works with Amazon Alexa and alerts your smartphone whenever motion is detected.
Amazon Echo Show 8: was £119.99 now £59.99 at Amazon
If you're looking for a larger smart home display, Amazon has the 2021 Echo Show 8 on sale for £59.99. That's the lowest price ever. You can use the eight-inch display to make calls, watch videos, check the weather, play music, display photos and control compatible smart home devices completely hands-free thanks to Alexa compatibility.
Amazon Fire 7 Kids Edition Tablet: was £114.99 now £54.99 at Amazon
Amazon's cheapest Kids Edition tablet is the Fire 7 and it's now on sale for £54.99 - that equals the lowest price ever. We said in our Fire 7 Kids Edition review that it's one of the best devices for small hands and surprisingly capable for the cost. It features up to 10 hours of battery life and includes a kid-proof case with a built-in stand and access to over 20,000 apps, games, books, videos, audiobooks, and educational content.
Apple AirPods Pro 2: was £229 now £199 at Amazon
They only launched a couple of months ago and this is the first discount I've seen on the latest generation Apple AirPods Pro 2 with USB-C support. As well as that more universal connection option, Apple's newest premium earbuds come with sought-after improvements to audio quality and noise cancellation. In our AirPods Pro 2 review, we said that these upgrades ensured they were a big step up compared to the originals and helped them truly compete with other high-end buds.
iPhone 13: was £799 now £549 at Amazon
Now that the iPhone 15 has been released, both Amazon and Apple have cut the upfront cost of the still-great iPhone 13 by a further £100. This 128GB model was already reduced by £100 following the release of the iPhone 14, so it's an even better mid-range option now for those who don't mind skipping out on a few of the latest features. Apple also operates its own trade-in program that can be used to knock a few further pounds off the upfront cost of a new device (useful if you've got an existing iPhone model to dispose of).
Amazon Echo Show 5 (3rd Gen): was £89.99 now £44.99 at Amazon
If you're looking for a deal on a smart home display, then the latest-generation Echo Show 5 on sale for £44.99. That's a record-equalling low for the device and a fantastic deal for a feature-rich smart home display that's packed with features and includes the Amazon Alexa voice assistant.
Fire TV Stick 4K: was £59.99 now £34.99 at Amazon
As the name suggests, the all-new Fire TV Stick 4K streams shows and movies on your TV in ultra-high 4K resolution. It's a good offer for a solid streaming stick that comes with access to all the major apps and supports voice controls through Alexa. Be aware, though, that the previous generation model has been as low as £22.99 before - but that was well over a year ago. Chances of seeing that price again are slim given the upgrades in this new version and the fact that the older one has been discontinued.
Meta Quest 2 (128GB) + £50 Amazon Credit: was £349 now £249 at Amazon
The Oculus Quest 2 / Meta Quest 2 is now down to its lowest price ever at Amazon - plus you get a £50 gift card included for free. This price cut felt inevitable during this year's Black Friday considering the Meta Quest 3 is now available, but this is still a great choice for an accessible VR headset at a reasonable price. It remains a great piece of kit thanks to its ease of use, comfortable weight vast catalogue of supported games and reasonable 128GB of storage.
Google Pixel 7a + 30W Pixel Charger: was £449 now £379 at Amazon
Android fans on a budget should consider the Google Pixel 7a while it's £70 off in this deal – and bundled with a fast 30W charger that's usually £25 by itself. This phone is the brand's latest mid-range device and is essentially a slightly scaled-down version of the standard Pixel 7. Despite that, it still manages to pack in the same chipset, an outstanding camera, and a 90Hz display, despite being around £100 - £200 cheaper.
Shark Stratos Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner: was £399.99 now £249 at Amazon
Here's a new record-low price for the appliance we awarded 4.5 stars out of five in our Shark Stratos Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner review. Again, I can't praise these vacuums enough for the Anti Hair Wrap tech that's saved me so much time unclogging the brush roll compared to my old vacuum. Flexology tech makes it a good option for reaching under furniture and this upgraded Stratos version boasts anti-odour tech and CleanSense IQ that automatically adjusts suction power to tackle tougher areas of dirt.
Flexispot Electric Height Adjustable Standing Desk: was £329.99 now £249.99 at Amazon
Flexispot is a top name in electric standing desks and this is a great chance to get a solid entry-level model for its lowest-ever price. This one features four programmable height settings so you can easily switch between sitting and standing throughout the day, while the white and steel design is clean and sturdy to suit any environment.
Hisense E7K 55-inch QLED 4K TV: was £699 now £399 at Amazon
This is a very affordable TV from Hisense that comes with a QLED panel for superior colours, brightness and contrast - especially in brighter rooms. Displays with this tech usually cost considerably more, so the fact you get it here in a reasonable-sized TV for under £500 is a bargain. An enhanced Game Mode, Dolby Vision and access to all the major streaming apps round out this solid TV deal for Black Friday.
MacBook Air (M1, 2020): was £999 now £799 at Amazon
This is a great price for the previous generation MacBook Air M1 - although it is £20 away from the previous record-low. Even though there's a newer M2 model available now, this is still a very powerful creative workstation that'll suit most users. If you've had an eye on the device we called a 'game-changer' in our MacBook Air M1 review, then now's still a good time to buy – although it could drop even further in price over the next week.
Alcohol + Drinks: up to 40% off whisky, brandy, wine, beers and more
Christmas party season is almost upon us so now is a good time to ensure the drinks cabinet is well-stocked with all the alcoholic (and non-alcoholic) tipples you might need. Amazon has up to 30% off loads right now, including popular brands such as Kraken, Johnnie Walker, Aperol, Tanqueray, Jack Daniels, and more
Tassimo Bosch My Way 2: was £99.99 now £58 at Amazon
Here's a solid 35% off the straightforward and easy-to-use Tassimo Bosch My Way 2 pod coffee machine. Personalisation options allow you to adjust the temperature, volume, and intensity of your drink, while there's support for over 50 different pods featuring popular brands and styles. Plus, the in-built Brita filter ensures a fresh and clean brew every time.

Ring Video Doorbell + Echo Pop: was £144.98 now £49.99 at Amazon
This is a big discount on a great smart doorbell starter bundle that includes a wireless battery-powered Ring Video Doorbell Plus and an Echo Pop smart speaker.
Amazon Smart Plug: was £24.99 now £12.99 at Amazon
Even if you don't have a house full of smart devices, this handy little gadget from Amazon can add smart capabilities to attached tech such as timers, schedules and voice controls. It also works great with other Alexa devices such as the Echo Dot or Echo Show. Now over £10 off - it's a super useful and cheap addition to your shopping cart this Black Friday.
Kindle Paperwhite: was £149.99 now £114.99 at Amazon
There was a time when you could get the Kindle Paperwhite for under £100. Unfortunately, that's not the case any more outside of limited Prime member-only deals. Still, this is a decent-enough price for the popular ereader. We found in our Kindle Paperwhite review that it's packed with features to suit all avid readers, including a 10-week battery life, glare-free 6.8-inch screen, adjustable warm light and storage space for thousands of books.
Kindle Oasis: was £229.99 now £174.99 at Amazon
There's a £50 saving on the most advanced Kindle Oasis right now at Amazon. While this saving is decent, it's actually been as low as £159.99 in the past, so I'm not as enthusiastic about this particular Kindle deal. Still, if a larger 7-inch display, thin waterproof design and dedicated page-turn buttons are top of your list of most-wanted features then this offer may appeal for the device we awarded four stars in our Amazon Kindle Oasis review.
Kindle Scribe: was £329.99 now £249.99 at Amazon
This is the lowest price we've seen the Kindle Scribe and beats the previous record-low by £10. It combines some of the best features of the Kindle Paperwhite, such as the glare-free and auto-adjusting display, along with the option to take notes, comment on documents, and doodle using the included stylus pen. Our Kindle Scribe review was down on some missing features that have been added in recent updates, so now this is good value for such a multi-functional device.
Amazon Fire TV Omni QLED 65-inch: was £999.99 now £699.99 at Amazon
With £300 off, this a very impressive TV for the price. This isn't the cheapest we've seen it, with a price as low as £679.99 in the summer, but if you're buying today, it's still excellent bang for your buck. At this low price, you get strong picture quality with Dolby Vision IQ HDR, VRR and ALLM next-gen gaming features, and the Fire TV smart TV platform.
Fire TV Stick: was £44.99 now £24.99 at Amazon
Amazon's standard Fire TV Stick is now discounted for Prime Day - but it's been as low as £17.99 in the past. While not the best deal, it's still a relatively cheap way to add essential smart features to your TV in our Fire TV Stick review, including access to streaming apps in HD, Alexa voice controls and the ability to control other smart home devices. It's less than the TV Stick Lite, at least, so it's worth picking up this version to get additional features such as the option to control your TV using the voice remote.
Fire TV Stick 4K Max: was £69.99 now £44.99 at Amazon
This is the first discount we've seen for Amazon's new and improved premium streaming device. The Fire TV Stick 4K Max streams the same content in the same quality as the standard 4K version, but the extra power inside means faster performance when navigating apps. Plus, it uses WiFi 6E technology to give you a more stable and consistent streaming experience.
Amazon Fire TV Cube: was £139.99 now £109.99 at Amazon
This discount has brought the latest version of Amazon's most advanced and fastest streaming device down to its lowest-ever price. As we found in our Fire TV Cube review, this upgraded model gives you the best 4K streaming experience with support for Dolby Vision, HDR, HDR10+, and Dolby Atmos audio. Plus, there's Alexa built-in, too, for handy voice controls and integration with your other smart home devices.
Amazon Echo Auto (2nd Gen): was £59.99 now £29.99 at Amazon
Add the safety and convenience of voice controls to your car with this latest iteration of the Amazon Echo Auto for its cheapest price ever. As well as playing music, checking traffic reports and making calls, the Echo Auto can also control smart devices in your home so you can turn up the heating or turn on lights so they're ready for when you get home. An aux cable and a fast in-car charger are also included.
Ring Video Doorbell + Echo Show 5: was £189.98 now £84.99 at Amazon
Here's another bundle deal with a Ring Video Doorbell and a smart display, which is an excellent companion to a video doorbell. Amazon has this super value one with a Ring Video Doorbell and Echo Show 5 bundled together with a solid saving of £100. Amazon's mini smart display is great in its own right – it's not perfect, but it was still worthy of four stars in our Echo Show 5 review because of its helpful Alexa and WikiHow integrations.
Ring Video Doorbell Wired: was £59.99 now £34.99 at Amazon
Amazon's latest batch of Black Friday deals include the Ring Video Doorbell Wired on sale for a terrific low price of £39.99. It's an affordable and simple-to-use smart home gadget according to our four-star verdict Ring Video Doorbell Wired review that allows you to monitor your front door from anywhere. Useful features include the ability to two-way talk and advanced motion detection. Plus, it's hard-wired using your existing doorbell wiring for constant power.
Blink Mini: was £29.99 now £17.99 at Amazon
The Blink Mini is always a best-seller at the end-of-year sales like Black Friday, and Amazon has the compact smart security camera for £17.99 - that's equal to the lowest price we've ever seen. The indoor HD camera works with Amazon Alexa and alerts your smartphone whenever motion is detected.
Blink Video Doorbell: was £59.99 now £34.99 at Amazon
Amazon's Black Friday sale features the top-rated Blink Video Doorbell on sale for £34.99 - that's a record-low price. The Blink Video Doorbell can be set up with batteries or wired, it alerts you when motion is detected, and features infrared night video and two-way audio.
Blink Outdoor Camera: was £89.99 now £45 at Amazon
This Black Friday deal is just £5 away from the record-low price for this feature-rich and easy-to-use outdoor security camera from Blink. It's completely wireless and allows you to monitor the outside of your home during the day and night using infrared vision and motion detection. Plus, there's the option to see and reply through the camera and record video with compatible Alexa devices. Longevity is strong, too, with a battery life of up to two years and sturdy housing that's built to survive the elements.
Ring Stick Up Cam Battery HD security camera: was £89.99 now £49.99 at Amazon
Amazon's just cut the price of its Ring Stick Up Cam Battery HD to a record low of £54.99, a savings of 39%. This versatile security camera can be used indoors or outdoors and we liked it enough that we gave it a 4-star rating (out of 5) in our review.
Amazon Fire 7: was £64.99 now £44.99 at Amazon
The cheapest Fire tablet deal in today's Black Friday deals is the Amazon Fire 7, which is down to £44.99. The best-selling tablet that we scored a respectable three stars in our Amazon Fire 7 review features a seven-inch display, 16GB of RAM, and up to seven hours of battery life. The Fire 7 also works with Amazon Alexa for hands-free control with compatible smart home devices. It has been as low as £31.99 for Prime members in the past, but we likely won't see an offer like that ever again.
Amazon Fire HD 8: was £99.99 now £49.99 at Amazon
Amazon's cheap and cheerful Fire HD tablets get the job done if you need a slate for general everyday use, media streaming and even a bit of light gaming. It's another Amazon device that's been stung by inflation-led price increases, so it's actually been closer to £40 in the past, but that was almost a year ago so unlikely to be seen again. We found it serviceable in our Amazon Fire HD 8 review so it's an OK enough buy at this price for those that want a basic no-frills tablet.
Amazon Fire HD 10: was £159.99 now £94.99 at Amazon
We haven't tested the brand-new Fire HD 10 just yet here at TechRadar but previous versions have been decent for the price. This is the second discount on the newest version – it was reduced to £99.99 earlier this week but has now dropped by another £5. The Fire HD 10 features a big, bright 10-inch Full HD display, 3GB of RAM, and an octa-core processor for relatively decent performance (for the money). It's ideal for watching content or using any number of Amazon's own-brand applications. The tablet also works with Amazon Alexa and provides an impressive 13 hours of battery life.
Amazon Fire HD 8 Kids Tablet: was £149.99 now £99.99 at Amazon
The latest Amazon Fire 8 Kids tablet is on sale for £99.99 following a £50 discount for Black Friday. The eight-inch tablet features easy parental controls, a kid-proof case, and a year of Amazon Kids Unlimited, which gives you access to apps, games, books, videos, and more. Be wary, though, as this tablet was £30 cheaper during Prime Day in July, so this offer isn't as good as it seems if you're looking for the most significant saving.
Amazon Black Friday deals 2023: TVs
TCL SF540K 40-inch Full HD Fire TV: was £239 now £119 at Amazon
Invite-only: This TCL SF540K Fire TV is another invite-only deal that's coming to this year's Black Friday sale at Amazon - and it's another I'd definitely register your interest in if you need a small and basic TV. At 40 inches and with just full HD support it's far from a premium model but it will serve you fine for infrequent viewing in the bedroom or kitchen - or if you aren't fussed about getting the very best picture quality. It's hard to argue with what you get for just under £120.
Amazon Fire TV 55-inch Omni QLED Series: was £749.99 now £499.99 at Amazon
Amazon's Fire TV Omni QLED Series is a big step up in the otherwise cheap and cheerful range of smart TVs. This set boasts premium features including a QLED display, HDR, Dolby Vision, local array dimming and HDMI 2.1 support to deliver a top-quality picture for all-around viewing and gaming. It's not always easy to find a TV of this size and with these high-end features anywhere close to under £500, so it's an excellent buy for the budget-conscious without compromising on quality.
Samsung 50-inch QN90C QLED 4K TV: was £1,799 now £889 at Amazon
Seeking an alternative to Samsung's pricier flagship mini-LED TVs? The QN90C is a good value, especially at £900 off at Amazon! In our Samsung QN90C TV review, we found it has a fine variety of features (despite a lack of Dolby Vision HDR), a great anti-glare display suitable for viewing in well-lit rooms, and deem it excellent for gaming with an impressively low input lag.
Samsung CU8000 65-inch 4K TV (2023): was £649 now £612 at Amazon
If you don't need a QLED display but still want a premium picture experience, Samsung's CU8000 Crystal series is a fantastic option, and you can grab this 65-inch model on sale for £612 at Amazon. The 2023 display from Samsung packs a solid 'Crystal' UHD 4K processor, Object Tracking Sound, and smart capabilities with voice control.
Sony HT-A5000: was £899 now £698 at Amazon
This is the best soundbar for gaming in the UK Black Friday sales so far. It's one of the few soundbars that can pass 4K 120Hz video with VRR through to your TV from something connected to it, so it's ideal for anyone with both next-gen consoles. It's designed to deliver big Dolby Atmos sound with a sub or rear speakers (though you can add them).
Amazon Black Friday deals 2023: Laptops
Asus Chromebook 14: was £249 now £139 at Amazon
This Asus Chromebook 14 is a basic device but it's great value for money if you need a cheap laptop for light use such as general browsing and schoolwork. It sports a 14-inch display, full-day battery life and the lean Chrome OS that make it a great buy for students or those always on the move with around £150 to spend.
Asus VivoBook 15: was £649.99 now £399.99 at Amazon
This Asus VivoBook 15 is an excellent value mid-range laptop if you need an all-around device and have a decent budget. You get a solid and well-performing laptop for the money thanks to the Intel i5 processor, 16GB of RAM and a large 512GB SSD. Get this if you need a device to keep up with all your computing needs: be that work, browsing, media streaming, video calls, or multitasking between many of the above at once.
Asus Chromebook 14 CX1400CMA: was £249 now £139 at Amazon
A great value Chromebook with a respectable 1080p screen, the Asus Chromebook 14 is an excellent mid-range Chrome laptop that is currently almost a third off at Amazon. The Intel Celeron N4020 CPU at the core of this Chromebook offers superior performance to the MediaTek chips you'll find in similar cheap laptops, too.
Apple MacBook Air M2 (256GB): was £1,399 now £1,254.99 at Amazon
You may want to hold out until Black Friday to pick up a pricey MacBook Air but this is the lowest price yet for the M2 model. This superb machine isn't quite as good value as its M1 predecessor but it's a much more modern-looking and slick machine. The bezels are thinner and the M2 chipset inside provides an impressive amount of power - enough that we'd happily recommend this one to all but the most demanding of professionals.
Asus Zenbook Pro: was £2,499.99 now £1,949.97 at Amazon
This is a high-end gaming laptop with the latest specs both CPU and GPU-wise, which means it's able to handle not only max settings and ray tracing for PC titles but also productivity work and creative/editing projects. It comes with an Intel i9-13900H CPU, Nvidia RTX 4070 GPU, 16GB RAM, and 1TB of storage.
Amazon Black Friday deals 2023: Appliances
The discount brings it in line with much smaller models so it's well worth getting this premium version while it's on offer.
Shark Stratos Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner: was £399.99 now £249.99 at Amazon
Here's a new record-low price for the appliance we awarded 4.5 stars out of five in our Shark Stratos Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner review. I own a similar but slightly older Shark IZ300UK vacuum cleaner and the Anti Hair Wrap tech has saved me countless hours unclogging the brush roll compared to my old vacuum. An absolute lifesaver. It's also a good option for reaching under furniture thanks to its Flexology tech. Pick one up so you can benefit from all the perks I've been loving for the last couple of years.
Nespresso Vertuo Pop: was £99.99 now £58 at Amazon
This single-serve Nespresso machine comes in various fun colours and can brew a large variety of caffeinated beverages. Your order will also come with 30 free capsules, so you can start enjoying delicious coffee right away. Not bad for a cheap and easy-to-use machine for the infrequent or less-fussy coffee drinker.
Tassimo Bosch My Way 2: was £99.99 now £58 at Amazon
Here's a solid 35% off the straightforward and easy-to-use Tassimo Bosch My Way 2-pod coffee machine. Personalisation options allow you to adjust the temperature, volume, and intensity of your drink, while there's support for over 50 different pods featuring popular brands and styles. Plus, the in-built Brita filter ensures a fresh and clean brew every time.
De'Longi Stilosa Manual Coffee Machine: was £126.99 now £107 at Amazon
We've not reviewed De'Longhi's Stilosa ourselves, but with a high Amazon score of 4.4 from more than 1,000 customer ratings, it's a highly regarded coffee maker. Its small size hides a powerful system that can pump out 15 bars of pressure, ensuring a creamy espresso base for your cappuccino. Amazon's deal takes 11% off the usual price.
Sage the Barista Touch Espresso Machine: was £1,049.95 now £799 at Amazon
We're big fans of the Sage Barista Express, having awarded it a 4.5-star rating in our review. This variant replaces the manual dials with a touchscreen, and Amazon currently has the black version on sale for £799 (ditto John Lewis). That's a decent price for a model that regularly sits above £1,000, but it has dropped below £700 in the past.
Shark Stratos upright vacuum cleaner: was £429.99 now £229 at Amazon
Lowest price: This is a new record-low price for an appliance we awarded 4.5 stars out of five in our Shark Stratos Cordless upright vacuum cleaner review. We loved its Anti Hair Wrap technology, and how easily it transforms into a portable handheld vacuum for more versatile cleaning. Today's early Black Friday deal at Amazon brings this outstanding cordless vac right down to its lowest-ever price.
Take another 15% off if you tick the coupon box.
Amazon Black Friday deals 2023: Smart home
Amazon Smart Plug: was £24.99 now £12.99 at Amazon
Even if you don't have a house full of smart devices, this handy little gadget from Amazon can add smart capabilities to attached tech such as timers, schedules and voice controls. It also works great with other Alexa devices such as the Echo Dot or Echo Show. Now over £10 off - it's a super useful and cheap addition to your shopping cart this Black Friday.
Ring Video Doorbell + Echo Pop: was £144.98 now £49.99 at Amazon
This is a big discount on a great smart doorbell starter bundle that includes a wireless battery-powered Ring Video Doorbell Plus and an Echo Pop smart speaker.

It's intuitive layout is designed to offer simple functionality to customize your home's heating. Save money and energy with Tado's smart radiator thermostat. Designed to replace your existing radiator valves, they are compatible with the separate Tado starter kit, allowing you to control your home's heating in individual rooms. Its smart features include weather adaptation, stats, and energy-saving reports.
Amazon Black Friday deals 2023: Headphones and audio
Apple AirPods Pro 2: was £229 now £199 at Amazon
They only launched a couple of months ago and this is the first discount I've seen on the latest generation Apple AirPods Pro 2 with USB-C support. As well as that more universal connection option, Apple's newest premium earbuds come with sought-after improvements to audio quality and noise cancellation. In our AirPods Pro 2 review, we said that these upgrades ensured they were a big step up compared to the originals and helped them truly compete with other high-end buds.
Samsung Galaxy Buds Live: was £139 now £69 at Amazon
The Samsung Galaxy Buds Live aren't the best wireless earbuds on the market but they are an absolute steal at this price. With a distinctive bean-like design that's surprisingly comfortable, we liked the Buds Live when we reviewed them and they're one of the only true wireless earbuds at this price point to offer some form of noise cancellation. With a healthy 50% off, these buds are just £15 over the record-low right now.
Bose SoundLink+ II: was £299.95 now £249 on Amazon
We haven't reviewed this Bluetooth speaker ourselves, but we did rate the first generation of the SoundLink Revolve four stars and gave the larger version of it, the SoundLink Revolve+, four stars too. While the SoundLink Revolve II has a shorter battery life of 13 hours compared to the Revolve+ II's 17 hours, this alongside a carry handle are the only differences between the two, which means you're getting slightly more bang for your buck with this version.
Sony WF-C500: was £90 now £43.69 at Amazon
We already called these earbuds 'great value for money' in our Sony WF-C500 review – and that was at the full asking price. With 45% off, we think they're an absolute steal and then some. Yes, 20 hours of battery can be bettered – but 10 hours from the buds alone certainly can't at this new low price point. They're also light and comfortable, providing an exciting, musical sound. Oh, and this is the cheapest price ever - sounds perfect.
Sony WF-C700N: was £99 now £74.99 at Amazon
Another pair of five-star Sony earbuds that are now the cheapest we've ever seen them. We raved about how good the sound quality is for the price in our Sony WF-C700N review and active noise cancellation is solid too. They're also much lighter than some buds, so are more comfortable – which is good, because they also last longer than most noise-cancelling buds.
Sony WH-1000XM5: was £380 now £279 at Amazon
Quite simply the newest and best in Sony's class-leading wireless over-ear lineup. The older XM4 was outstanding, the XM3 before it was excellent, and it'll come as little surprise to know that Sony's XM5 proposition is also incredibly hard to beat – especially at this cheapest price yet. Get them if you want some of the best noise-cancelling headphones money can buy from a trusted manufacturer.
Sony WH-CH520: was £60 now £34.99 at Amazon
This huge saving on their February 2023 launch price is a tidy discount on what we called 'some of the best cheap headphones you can buy' – see our glowing Sony WH-CH520 review for clarification. This is the cheapest they've ever been and beats the record low by around £5.
Bose QuietComfort Earbuds 2: was £279.95 now £199 at Amazon
Rated as our best noise-cancelling earbuds, the Bose QuietComfort 2 are on sale at Amazon for under £200 following today's £80 discount. Get these for best-in-class noise cancellation, superior comfort, impressive sound, and six hours of battery life.
Amazon Black Friday deals 2023: Phones
Google Pixel 7a + 30W Pixel Charger: was £449 now £379 at Amazon
Android fans on a budget should consider the Google Pixel 7a while it's £70 off in this deal – and bundled with a fast 30W charger that's usually £25 by itself. This phone is the brand's latest mid-range device and is essentially a slightly scaled-down version of the standard Pixel 7. Despite that, it still manages to pack in the same chipset, an outstanding camera, and a 90Hz display, despite being around £100 - £200 cheaper.
iPhone 14 Plus: was £799 now £749 at Amazon
Amazon also has the larger iPhone 14 Plus available at a cut price right now. We're less critical of this phone given its mightily impressive battery credentials and gorgeous, Pro Max-sized screen, and there's also no iPhone 13 Plus to directly compare it to. You'll get the Dynamic Island and a 48MP camera from the more expensive iPhone 15 Plus, but if you can forgo those features, then the iPhone 14 Plus for £749 is a strong deal ahead of Black Friday. John Lewis currently offers the same deal, and you'll get three months of Apple TV Plus thrown in for free, too.
iPhone 13: was £799 now £549 at Amazon
Now that the iPhone 15 has been released, both Amazon and Apple have cut the upfront cost of the still-great iPhone 13 by a further £100. This 128GB model was already reduced by £100 following the release of the iPhone 14, so it's an even better mid-range option now for those who don't mind skipping out on a few of the latest features. Apple also operates its own trade-in program that can be used to knock a few further pounds off the upfront cost of a new device (useful if you've got an existing iPhone model to dispose of).
Motorola Razr 40 Ultra: was £1,049 now £849 at Amazon
Both Amazon and John Lewis have the excellent Motorola Razr 40 Ultra foldable on sale for £849 ahead of Black Friday. Known as the Motorola Razr Plus in the US, this phone is a major evolutionary step for smartphones, going beyond what any previous flip or foldable has offered. With the screen open, it’s surprisingly thin, with a huge display. When it’s closed – and you start using apps on the external screen – you've got an entirely new device, different from anything you've used before. It's not perfect, but it’s so far ahead of what other clamshell phones offer that there's barely a flaw that isn’t forgivable.
Amazon Black Friday deals 2023: tablets
Google Pixel Tablet: was £699 now £599 at Amazon
The Google Pixel Tablet has been available for six months and this is the first significant discount I've seen on the manufacturer's first foray into the world of portable slates. This one is mostly designed for use around the home, though, as it also comes with a Charging Speaker Dock so you can use it as a smart display. Performance is good, too, thanks to Google's Tensor G2 chip, 8GB of RAM and decent 256GB of storage.
This is the first discount on the newest version and it's a reasonable £60 off.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra: was £1,299 now £899 at Amazon
It's a return to the lowest price ever for the high-end version of Samsung's previous generation Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra. The tablet sports a large 14.6-inch screen that also offers a high refresh rate of up to 120Hz to deliver a smooth image during demanding tasks such as gaming. It's a strong all-around performer for general use, too, such as browsing, media streaming and making video calls. We found in our Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra review that doodlers will also appreciate the large 14.6-inch screen on this model, which will also serve you better if you want to use it as a portable workstation.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A8: was £219 now £169 at Amazon
This equals the lowest price I've seen for the newer version of the budget Galaxy Tab A8 since launch. It's one of the best cheap laptops you can buy today, with a wide 10.5-inch screen, 32GB of storage, and 13 hours of battery life. The Octa-core processor and 4GB of RAM ensure good performance for everyday tasks. All colors are also reduced so you can choose between Grey, Pink, and Silver.
iPad Air (2022): was £699 now £579 at Amazon
The iPad Air (2022) offers many of the same features and capabilities as the much pricier iPad Pro range but at a fraction of the cost. It has an attractive 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display with True Tone support, which means it looks good in all lighting conditions – including outdoors. This is a return to the lowest price we've ever seen for a tablet that hits that middle ground between power and affordability.
Apple Pencil (2nd Gen): was £139 now £89 at Amazon
The second-generation Apple Pencil is the one you'll need if you're using a compatible iPad from 2018 or later. It was on sale at Currys for £69 until recently, but that deal has now ended, so this Amazon offer is the best you'll currently find. It has neat advantages like a button that allows you to easily switch between tools. Plus, you can attach it magnetically to the side of your iPad Pro and it will wirelessly charge.
Kindle: was £84.99 was £69.99 at Amazon
The latest version of the standard Kindle is now on sale as part of Black Friday. It's a basic ereader, but still boasts a four-week battery life and space for thousands of books. Given it's £40 cheaper than the Paperwhite, this is clearly a better pick for the infrequent reader who's after a more budget-friendly option. Note: it has been £10 cheaper in the past, but Amazon shows no signs of hitting that record-low again.
Amazon Black Friday deals 2023: wearables
Apple Watch 8 (GPS, 41mm): was £349 now £339 at Amazon
The Apple Watch 8 is one of the best smartwatches you can buy, thanks to its impressive display and new safety and health features, such as fall detection and Emergency SOS. Amazon has the best-selling Apple Watch 8 on sale for £339 on Black Friday, which is the record-low price. The larger 45mm display version is also reduced to £369.
Apple Watch Ultra: was £699 now £599 at Amazon
The first version of Apple's tough, high endurance and rugged smartwatch is down to its lowest price ever at Amazon for Black Friday. It's made with a titanium shell and a 49mm 2000-nits sapphire display, but it's not just a bigger and bulkier smartwatch. Advanced features include a customisable action button, a compass, precision dual-frequency GPS, depth gauge and more detailed data for pro runners.
Fitbit Versa 3: was £199 now £129.99 at Amazon
With a solid four stars in our Fitbit Versa 3 review, this is our pick as the best Fitbit overall, beating the newer Versa 4 on both price and features. This isn't the lowest price we've ever seen for it (it's been down to £119 in the past) but it's still a good price for a feature-rich smartwatch that includes built-in GPS, sleep tracking, all-day heart rate monitoring, voice controls, and more. For fitness enthusiasts and beginners looking for a way to get into health tracking, it's an offer worth checking out this Black Friday.
Fitbit Versa 4 was £199.99 now £144 at Amazon
If you really want the newest model, the latest Fitbit Versa 4 has a 28% discount right now, bringing it to within a few pounds of its record-low price. It is water resistant up to 50m with built-in GPS, offers six days of battery life, loads of workout profiles and advanced sleep tracking. Six months of Fitbit Premium is included in the price so, as we wrote in our Fitbit Versa 4 review, it's a great buy for fitness and sleep tracking enthusiasts.
Fitbit Inspire 3: was £84.99 now £67.99 at Amazon
Here's a small discount on Fitbit's cheapest tracker. It's inexpensive but still Fitbit's best-value proposition: all a fitness beginner needs to get started. It lasts for ten days and comes with six months of Fitbit Premium, which is an outstanding fitness app packed to the gills with features and content. Especially at this price.
Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro: was £429.99 now £329 at Amazon
Save £100 on Samsung's best dedicated fitness watch. With a raised bezel for added ruggedness and a BackTrack feature to ensure you never get lost, if you're a Samsung user and you like adventure, this is the watch to get. We gave it a solid four stars in our Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro review.

Xbox Series S - Starter Pack: was £249.99 now £189 at Amazon
A saving of £60 is available on this excellent value Xbox Series S bundle at Amazon. Microsoft's cheaper current generation console is not as powerful as the Xbox Series X, but with this deal, it's £250 cheaper and still capable of playing all the same games in 1440p at 120fps. Plus, you get three months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate included to get access to dozens of top titles and indie gems. A good option if you want to game on a budget.
Nintendo Switch + Nintendo Switch Sports and 3 months of Nintendo Switch Online: £259 at Amazon
This superb bundle offers a Switch console, Nintendo Switch Sports, and 3 months' subscription time for Nintendo Switch Online at an all-in-one affordable price. The bundle will launch on October 20, and it's perfect if you're looking for a more active game to shed some pounds ahead of the Holiday season.
PlayStation 5 DualSense Charging Station: was £24.99 now £17.99 at Amazon
You can get this handy charger and stand combo for your PS5 DualSense controllers for just £1 more than the lowest price I've seen at Amazon. I use this official accessory all the time to keep a pair of gamepads full of juice for my next gaming session without the added faff of needing to plug them into my PS5 console.
WD_BLACK SN850 1TB: was £197.26 now £83.99 at Amazon
Simply put, this is one of the best internal SSDs that you can buy for the PS5. It's officially licensed by Sony and far exceeds the PS5's requirements, meaning faster loading and install times. It's currently £10 above the lowest-ever price but still a very formidable deal for Black Friday.
Xbox Series X: was £479.99 now £359 at Amazon
The Xbox Series X is currently down to its lowest-ever price at Amazon for Black Friday. If you're looking to buy just the console on its own then this is absolutely the best way to do so in the UK right now.
Xbox Series X Forza Horizon 5 bundle: was £489.99 now £369 at Amazon
Want an Xbox Series X bundle instead? For just £10 more than buying the console by itself, you can also get Forza Horizon 5 and some DLC packed in. It's good value for money and an excellent way to get one of the console's most popular and iconic racers at a fraction of the cost.
Xbox Series X – Diablo 4 Bundle: was £489 now £389 at Amazon
Another great saving on a big Xbox Series X bundle featuring Blizzard's latest gothic action RPG. Microsoft's most powerful current-generation console would usually set you back £400 by itself, so the fact that you get a recent game like Diablo 4 included for free that retails for £60 shows just how good this deal is right now.
Xbox Wireless Controller: was £54.99 now £38.99 at Amazon
Multiple colour variants of the latest Xbox Wireless Controller are now available from £38.99 at Amazon for Black Friday. This well-loved and easy-to-use gamepad is compatible with most Bluetooth-enabled devices, such as Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S consoles, PCs, tablets, and mobile phones. This is a good price to bite on as we've only seen these controllers for £4 less in the past.
Demon's Souls (PS5): was £69.99 now £24.99 at Amazon
I hated the Souls games until Elden Ring showed me how special they could be, but going back to the original Demon's Souls with this PS5 remaster was a real kick in the teeth. I think I only managed about three bosses before calling it a day. And no recharging healing flasks? What the hell, man? Still, this is a top-quality remaster of an iconic and influential game. And it's now at a fantastic price, too, so you can see if you do any better than me.
Monopoly: was £24.99 now £14.99 at Amazon
Save £10 - Another strong discount for Monopoly in the UK. If you've somehow avoided picking up this business management board game, this is a great price to do so!
Price check: Smyths Toys - £14.99
Jenga: was £17.99 now £9.99 at Amazon
Save £9 - A superb half-price deal for Jenga in the UK. As one of the best family board game experiences out there, it comes highly recommended from us at less than £10.
Price check: Argos - £9
Lego Marvel Infinity Gauntlet Iron Man Set: was £59.99 now £50.88 at Amazon
Go on your own quest to gather the six Infinity Stones with this Lego replica of the Iron Man Infinity Gauntlet. This 680-piece set is an impressive statement piece in any room and a fitting tribute to the superhero that started it all in the MCU. Admirers can ask: "What did it cost, everything?". And you can reply, "No. Just £50, actually.".
Lego Majestic Tiger: was £44.99 now £34.99 at Amazon
If you're buying for an older Lego builder looking for something complex, this set could be more up their street. The set is a 3-in-1, and can be made into a red panda, a tiger, and a koi fish. It's an ideal holiday gift worth grabbing now at one of the best prices we've seen for a set that was released only last year.
Amazon Black Friday deals: key information
When will Amazon Black Friday deals begin?
Black Friday officially falls on November 24th for 2023 so jot that down in your calendar. However, Amazon has already gone live with its first batch of deals, releasing hundreds of discounts a week early, on Friday, November 17.
We've got all of the best deals from the sale in this hub, so scroll up for the very latest offers.
What were the best Amazon Black Friday deals last year?
On top of the usual record-low discounts on Amazon own-brand devices (Fire TV sticks, Echo, Kindles), there were some great offers on budget TVs from JVC with up to £80 taken off the price. There were also 50% savings to be had across a number of cordless Shark vacuum cleaners.
Another standout of the year was on Apple goods, something that consumers inevitably lap up when you consider how stingy the Californian tech giant is about deducting prices via its official store. The Apple AirPods Pro were hot commodity, going for £185 - this price including the new MagSafe wireless charging case. Then there was 2020's Apple Watch Series 6, with a jammy £130 price slash. The 2021 iPad Mini also saw its first discount of a not-too-shabby £20, while the iPad Pro could be purchased with a £50 off all storage capacities.
And, when could you make the most of these decent Amazon Black Friday deals? Actually, before Black Friday itself. We usually lead with the advice to be patient and wait it out for the big day before committing to a purchase but last year there was actually a very strong argument for picking up hot-ticket goods early. We're still not entirely sold on the concept, but if you see an in-demand item on sale in the approach to Black Friday then it's not a bad idea to consider picking it up.
The prices aren't likely to get much lower, with Amazon UK kicking its Black Friday sales off in early November. That said, it's definitely worth checking back on the official date to see what other bargains you can snatch up, with huge price cuts on designer clothing brands, and other items great for bringing some cheer to the upcoming festive period.
