Apple está desarrollando un Mac completamente nuevo

Apple podría estar desarrollando una nueva estación de trabajo llamada Mac Studio, un híbrido entre el Mac Mini y el Mac Pro.

Hay dos versiones de Mac Studio en desarrollo, afirma 9to5Mac citando fuentes propias. La primera tendría el chip M1 Max  — presente en la gama alta del MacBook Pro 14 y el MacBook Pro 16 — y la segunda versión tendría un chip aún más potente que el M1 Max, aún en desarrollo.

Supuestamente, el nombre en clave interno del Mac Studio es J375. La máquina está obviamente dirigida al mercado profesional, coo la nueva pantalla Apple Studio, que también se rumorea está en desarrollo. Es probable que Apple los comercialice juntos para creativos.

No es la primera mención del Mac Studio. Bloomberg publicó una supuesta filtración que aseguraba que Apple estaba trabajando en un Mac Pro más pequeño con un nuevo chip Apple Silicon con 40 núcleos en la CPU y 128 núcleos en la GPU integrada.

Como con todo lo relacionado con Apple, nada se ha confirmado todavía. Apple organizará su evento de marzo la próxima semana, donde esperamos ver al gigante tecnológico nuevos dispositivos Mac. Sin embargo, es poco probable que aparezca un Mac Pro de ningún tipo.
