When will the Black Friday TV deals start in 2024?

Although Black Friday itself isn't until the 29th of November, there's already plenty of deals going live as we speak - including some record-low prices. Retailers like Curry, Argos, John Lewis, Very and Reliant have launched Black Friday sales already.

Black Friday deals will continue to appear in the run-up to the big day and you can expect plenty more offers on a wide range of TVs, as we're already seeing deals on the likes of Sony OLEDs, Hisense mini-LEDs and Samsung QLED like the ones we've listed above.

Is Black Friday the best time to buy TVs?

We've found that Black Friday and the lead-up to it is definitely one of the best times to buy a TV. Throughout the year, there are sales events such as Amazon Prime Day and regular sales from other major retailers, but Black Friday brings the biggest, best and largest number of TV deals, with plenty of 'lowest ever' prices on some of the best TVs around.

If you've been wanting to upgrade your TV but aren't sure about the best time to do it, it's now and throughout November, including Black Friday. There's no better opportunity than this time of year to get a serious step-up on your current TV for a much cheaper price than you'd expect to pay throughout the rest of the year.

What Black Friday TV deals should I expect?

TVs see regular discounts over Black Friday, from the most elite OLEDs to the best budget models and everything in between. There will be something for everyone.

We've already seen amazing offers this year on some of the best OLED TVs but we're expecting serious discounts on flagship models such as the phenomenal Samsung S95D and on mid-range OLEDs like the ever versatile and super popular LG C4. Expect some discounts from Sony, Philips and Panasonic. These companies all released TVs later in the year than LG and Samsung, so they'll be looking to catch up.

You can also expect deals on the growing crop of mini-LED TVs from brands like Hisense and TCL who, despite offering already competitive prices, tend to make their TVs even more tempting with further discounts. We'll be keeping an eye on the Hisense U8N and TCL C855 in particular. We've already got a record-low deal on the Hisense U7N above.

Finally, while most 2023 TVs may seem old now, some retailers will still have stock hanging around and will be looking to get rid of it, which means serious discounts. Expect deals on 2023 TVs like the LG C3 OLED and Samsung QN90C mini-LED TV to appear over the coming weeks.
