Anthropologie - up to 30% off bedding, bath, and more
Though not strictly a Labor Day sale, Anthropologie is currently offering up to 30% off a wide range of bedding, bath, rugs, and curtains. There are a bunch of great deals to be had in this sale, though it may be worth waiting it out till the retailer's actual Labor Day sale event begins, presumably in the days leading up to the holiday.
Ashley Homestore - up to 40% off the entire range
Ashley HomeStore has already kicked off its full Labor Day sale, offering savings of up to 40% on a wide range of furniture, mattresses and more. Even better, there could be the possibility of even further savings as we get closer to Labor Day, as last year saw the retailer offer discount codes with an extra 10% saving on top of the discounted sales prices.
Bed Bath & Beyond – save up to 60% on clearance items
Bed Bath & Beyond's Labor Day sale is now live, offering savings of up to 60% on hundreds of items across its Warehouse Clearance range. What's more, you could get an extra 20% off your order by signing up to the retailer's "Welcome Rewards" scheme, though this is only for new accounts and for select items.
Home Depot - up to 40% off furniture, home decor and outdoor items
Another retailer that hasn't launched its full Labor Day sales event yet, Home Depot is nonetheless offering up to 40% off a range of goods right now, including large appliances. Like other retailers, it may be worth waiting till the full sale launches in the coming days if you're hoping to pick up the best bargains.
Lowe's - up to 40% off patio furniture, grills and more
Lowe's is currently running its 'Truck-load' sales event ahead of Labor Day, with thousands of deals on appliances, patio furniture, tools, and more. You know the drill by now - it's probably worth waiting till the full Labor Day sales even from Lowe's, especially since most of the current deals will likely be carried over. That said, it may be a good idea to add the items you want to your cart early, in time for the official sale.
Overstock - up to 70% off furniture
Overstock's Labor Day sale is now live, with up to 70% off and free delivery across a wide range of furniture. The retailer was previously running an end-of-summer sale with the same items, so it's likely that we won't see any further reductions. So, if you see something you like, it's probably safe to pull the trigger without worrying about additional discounts being added days after you order.
Target - up to 25% off select furniture
This isn't Target's full-on Labor Day sale, but this may be the best we can expect since its furniture offer was the same during last year's holiday. That said, 25% off Target's already reasonable prices isn't too shabby. There are some good deals on offer for all kinds of furniture here.
Wayfair – up to 70% off select items
The Labor Day sale is now underway at Wayfair, where you can get up to 70% off a whole range of products. There really are some good bargains on offer here, from sofa sets to wall decorations. Even better, you can save an extra 20% on certain items by using the code SAVE20 at checkout.

How to find the best Labor Day furniture sales
Well, you're already making a great start by being on this very page as right here we'll be bringing you all the best Labor Day furniture sales as and when we spot them during the sale period. You can have a browse through all the offers in the retailer list above, which will be updated as more offers emerge.
On the big day, you'll want to pay close attention to the clearance sales on a lot of outdoor furniture and goods. Now that those warm summer evenings are sadly behind many of us, stores will be looking to shift any remaining stock on patio furniture and other outdoor goods so it isn't clogging their warehouses until next year. That means some serious bargains should be up for grabs.
Stores such as Lowe's and Home Depot could be the best places to look, as you can also take advantage of free shipping on orders over $45. Not an unreasonable target to hit if you're buying particularly substantial items, and that saving on the shipping cost can make the deal even sweeter.
When do the Labor Day furniture sales end?
You'll find that most stores end their Labor Day sale at midnight on September 6 - that's the Tuesday. Although many start offering a few discounts earlier than Labor Day itself, there's usually very little that follows. Sure, some stores may keep a few deals live until the end of the week, but the bulk will be gone.
If you've been eyeing a bargain, then make sure you get that purchase in sooner rather than later - there's a good chance it'll be gone by the time you check again.
